    National Association for the advancement of the colored people is a civil rights organisation formed by the people who were both whites and Africans in order to gain justice for the Africans Americans

    The mission or the goal of NAACP is to promote the political, economic and social interests of the all persons and eliminate the race based discrimination. It also strive to stop the racial violence that was going on against the African Americans. It expanded after the World war II.

    NAACP also succeeded in making the congress pass the anti-lynching laws. In Brown Vs. Board of Education case, NAACP asked on behalf of Brown family to abolish segregation in the Topeka public school and it also succeeded when supreme court ruled that segregation was unconstitutional.
