Due to partisan politics Alexander Hamilton and Aaron burr faced a duel and hence shot against each other. It is said that Hamilton was killed by Aaron Burr.

    Explanation:

It was during nineteenth century and there emerged two major parties in America. The federalists and democratic republicans. Federalists advocated strong central government whereas democratic republicans advocated that the local government had a great opportunity to interact with the people and hence it needed the priority. These two ideologies weer contradictory and hence Hamilton and Aaron burr were against each other politically.

Aaron Burr decided to contest for US Senate seat against Hamilton and his father in law Philip Schuyler and forced Schuyler to run out of office. from here difference of opinion started which ended up in a shoot out and Hamilton was killed by Aaron Burr.
