    First, organized attacks on Jews broke out across Germany. Next, SA members stood outside Jewish-owned stores and businesses in order to prevent customers from entering. Then the first racial law that attempted to isolate Jews and oust them from German life was established. The effects of the holocaust were deadly and harsh. There was an estimated amount of 5.4 million to 5.8 million Jews that were murdered in the Holocaust, leaving only few survivors in the end ... The people saw the holocaust as inhumane. They were shocked and horrified to hear of the torture and abuse of the innocent.
