How did the result of conflict in the Virginia Colony affect today's Virginia?

Virginia was the first colony in the new world which was found in the year of 1607 and in the city of Jamestown. There were three wars which were fought by the people of colony of Virginia and the Indians and were fought in the seventeenth century.

The result of these conflicts were outburst of certain diseases and the hunger in that colony. Even today the people of Virginia are still dealing with this problem of hunger and diseases.
