During the first few years of WWI the USA was able to remain on the sidelines with its promise of neutrality. Eventually though President Wilson decided that entering WWI needed to happen and he asked Congress for a declaration of War. Explain in one paragraph the reasons for the United States removing its pledge of neutrality and deciding to enter WWI on the side of England, France, and Russia

    While Wilson was leading America during the war years and convinced public opinion in favor of neutral stand. But one cannot ignore the fact that one-third of the American population was somehow related to European origin and therefore reaction was obvious. Moreover, while each side wanted good trade relations with the U. S, it was ultimately Allies country who won U. S support because of submarine attacks of Germany took a heavy toll on American lives. Secondly, Zimmerman telegram left no alternative to Wilson and he asked Congress to declare war on Germany.
