Shakira, who is from Colombia, performed with Bad Bunny, who is from Puerto Rico. Jennifer López, who was born in the Bronx from Puerto Rican parents, performed with J. Balvin, who is from Colombia. Instead of the male Colombian rapper performing with the Colombian female singer and the Puerto Rican male rapper performing with the Puerto Rican female singer, these two female artists chose to perform with singers from the opposing nationality. This may have been yet another purposeful manner to showcase the theme of unity within their performance. Do you agree with artists that use their artistic platforms to convey their political views on social issues? Do you believe showcasing controversial social issues during artistic performances unites or divides people? Do you believe platforms such as the Super Bowl - which are viewed by people from a multiplicity of social backgrounds - should be used for this purpose? Why or why not?

this is an opinion question. but, personally, i agree with all of them because if a lot of people are watching the superbowl, then a lot of them will watch the performance, which will raise awareness of the problems that they are standing for.
