Queen Liliuokalani, the Hawaiian queen was forced to abandon the throne by the group of a few capitalists and sugar planters.

They forced her because she rejected to sign a pact which stated that US sugar planters are allowed to plant sugarcane in Hawaii. It was bloodless illegal seizure of power.

The monarchy of Hawaii came to an end as it was the time of the outbreak of Spanish American Battle. US navy poled its flag in the lands of Hawaii as it lost in the war.
