There were a few reasons for America's imperialism.

    Explanation:

Imperialism means extending country's power through diplomacy or by using military force.

America was imperialistic because it was motivated by many political, economic and geographical reasons. They wanted new markets for trade. So, by colonization throughout the world, more markets for U. S. would grow for trading. So, they gradually expanded their territorial possessions.

"Annexation of Hawai" is the most significant example of America's imperialism as America possessed control over all Hawaiian ports, islands, buildings with this. Another reference of American Imperialism is the Bell Trade Act.
