    Napoleon Bonaparte was very hypocritical about the ideas of the French Revolution and indeed betrayed it.

    Explanation:

    His betrayal towards the French Revolution ideas like Liberty, Fraternity, Equality. Instead of supporting these ideas he came up with the Napoleonic code. It was an act of selfishness more than the freedom of people. He associated to suppress the royalist insurrection against revolutionists of Paris and claimed himself to be the Emperor of France. Napoleon Bonaparte was very hypocritical about the ideas of the French Revolution and indeed betrayed it. Though he wasn't a religious person he gave more importance to the rights of the Jews than to the rights of the French people.
