    The most radical leader was Marcus Garvey, (1887-1940) He used different ways in order to give importance to his community. He created the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League. With the objective to convey his message in a better way, he published the newspaper "Negro World." Black Star Line was a shipping company under his supervision too, its employees were Africans who used to do business all over the world.
