    After the 13th amendment, slavery was abolished. which in other words means that, there was no more slavery. After December 6th, 1865, thats when slavery was abolished

    You would think, 'oh no more prejudice against African Americans!' But not. Segregation, and racism was still a HUGE problem until the late late 1900's

    The Thirteenth Amendment became part of the Constitution on December 6, 1865, based on the following ratifications: Illinois - February 1, 1865. Rhode Island - February 2, 1865.
