World War I was beyond any doubt a milestone in history that shaped the world politics and the world history. But this war was particularly a transformative moment for the African-American history.

    Explanation:

Initially this was simply a conflict between the Europeans but it soon became a conflict that had revolutionary implications that was to shape the social, economic, and political future of the blacks. The war had a significant impact on the African-Americans. After the war ended, the African Americans hoped that their patriotic sacrifices would pay off. But this was far from reality. The return of the black soldiers created a nationwide violence. Especially in Washington, D. C and Chicago there was a lot of riots. Because of the racial conditions that failed to improve even after the war, the effects of the war receive less attention.
