how did rosa parks become a hero and an inspiation to people all over the nation who were looking for racial equality

When Rosa Parks entered a bus, she was told that the bus was segregated, and that, because she was a woman of color, she had to stand in the back. To this, Rosa replied that she was tired, too, and she deserved to rest her weary feet just as much as any of the white people did. She proceeded to sit in the front of the bus, where she then refused to follow any ridiculous redirection, and stayed sitting until they came to arrest her.
