    French empire is one of the largest empires in History. It began to establish colonies in North America, the Caribbean and India. As the empire developed it began to trade to the motherland with raw materials and manufactured items. The major goal of the french expedition is "The Civilizing Mission" the African population and spreading the Language and Religion. It also provides manpower to the second world war. French abolished Slavery in most of West Africa. They gave full citizenship rights called Assimilation by opposing the view that the higher race can dominate the lower people.
