In the balance between liberty and equality, which one would you emphasize? Why?

    Liberty and equality are two fundamental rights granted to citizens in democracy. All Human rights are facilitated, In context of society. SO none of them can be enjoyed by and Individual in absolute terms. AS a result Equality and Liberty become Complementary to each other. if one individual has right to enjoy freedom then he has to be careful about other fellow beings by not violating their right of Liberty. Our activities should not hurt others. This is facilitated by right to equality. welfare states are supposed to make extra provisions for the people of deprived sections of society to facilitate their rights.
