Economic Issues were the defining issues of both the great depression and the new deal.

    Explanation:

In the great depression, the highest number of shares stokes were sold which ruined the value of the shares sharply. Due to this, business and banks failed and were shut down rapidly which gave rise to unemployment, inflation and economic crisis. The wages for the least proportion of population also rapidly decreased. The new deal was the series of actions and policies by the US president Franklin D. Roosevelt for the relief and reform from the effects of 'the great depression'.
