    The society in ancient Greece was composed of male citizens, semi-free laborers, women, children, women, slaves, and foreigners. The society was dominated by male citizens and they had full legal status, right to vote, own property. Although the role of all members defined, the interaction between the classes and movement between social groups as possible.

    The people on the top were called Aristoi, they possessed money, armor, weapons, and horses. The poorer second class citizens had less productive lands away from the city. They were called Periokoi. The third group included the people engaged in manufacturing and trade. The women had few rights compared to the male citizens, they were unable to vote. inherit or own land. They were mostly busy with weaving and wool-work.
