What were cherokee's values and beliefs and how were the roles of the men and women in their society different?

    The Cherokee people has several values and beliefs and the men and women performed different roles.

    Explanation:

    The Cherokee people are devoted to the Supreme Holy spirit and they don't observe any religious ceremonies. They do not believe in idol worship and they believe that human beings are not above other creatures of the universe. Instead they have to live in harmony with nature and its beings to maintain balance.

    Hunting, building houses, clearing land for agriculture etc were the functions of Cherokee men. Cherokee women were warriors in the earlier times. The women have power in their families and participated in governments. They also actively participate in the daily household works.
