Explanation:

Ottoman rulers fully utilised the domes to create well defined and large interior spaces. Domes were introduced in a number of Ottoman buildings such as madrasas and mosques.

The largest domes were build in the mosques. Domes combined with slender minarets were the unique feature of Ottoman architecture. The domes appeared in the 14th century at its capital Bursa and later in Edirne and when Constantinople was conquered by the Turks domes were also built in the building of Istanbul. Dome and Minarets are two important elements of an Ottoman mosque.
