Is Miner's analysis an accurate assessment of modern America life? If a person from the distant past or future could read it, would it give that person a proper introduction to America culture?

    Horace Miner was a famous and awarded anthropologist who wrote several journal articles and essays. According to hos perspective, he criticized cultural ethnocentrism, specially from North-American and European academicals. Hence, if someone from the past or future read it, might have a satirical impression on his view about America's culture. For a proper understanding on his work, it is neccessary to be familiar with anthropolgy concepts and keep in mind of his critical approach.
