    It was the Spring of 1692 in colonial Salem, Massachusetts when a group of girls accused many women of practicing witchcraft. People of that time believe what the girls were saying and bloody persecution started against these accused women. The first woman hanged was Bridget Bishop and many others followed. People reacted in panic and there was no proof that those women were practicing any kind of black magic.
