How were the black codes similar to the slavery? how were they different?

    Slavery is when a person belongs to someone else, and this person must work without any pay, only the necessary to live, of course, this depends on the owner.

    The black codes are when slavery was abolished in the world war two, these people now can start to work in a company and get a salary, is called freedom.
