Why is the 19th amendment to the u. S. Constitution could be considered a progressive amendment?

    The 19th Amendment was Progressive because it gave women the right to vote, something we previously had been denied. It was a stepping stone on the path to equality between sexes in all areas such as the workforce and home life.
