Why did it take African Americans so long to gain very little equality?

    There stereotypes. They were thought of as thieves and unequal to "white people"

    This is why they weren't allowed to use the same bathroom as the rest, or stying in staudiums as the rest. This caused The Beetles to almost not preform was African Americans weren't allowed to watch.
