What are some ways that the Roman Republic was not democratic?

    The Roman Republic didn't have one government - instead, it had numerous organizations with different functions. The Republic was slightly democratic - since they hosted up elections for participants, but during that time, only the wealthy - such as - the patrician class made up 10% of the population. Therefore, the patricians ran the government only.
