Declaration agreement has five important parts, they are: The Preamble, Pronouncement of Human Rights, Concerns against the king and the parliament, Proclamation of Separation and Signatures. It is different from the US constitution which has static laws and decrees that define how a Government has to function; it states the rights and responsibilities of the people and three branches that exist in the American Government.

US Constitution has three important parts; they are Preamble, Seven Articles and Twenty seven Amendments.

US Constitution is categorized into three major divisions whereas Declaration of Independence is categorized into five major sections. Declaration of Independence proclaims liberty of the colonies.
