    Progressives fought against the Big corporations which were considered to be ruthless, They also struggled to combat the evils of child labor. poor working conditions, health and safety, squalid living conditions, the rights of women and minority groups, unfair business practices and consumer protection were also considered to be the main agenda of the progressive movements.
