In your own words, describe the impact of religion on the Harappan civilization?

    Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism made Harappan civilization. The religious practice is of polytheistic.

    Explanation:

    The people of Harappan civilization worshipped God as their forefather and God mother for fertility. They used to worship plant, animals. Religious practices of indigenous people of Harappan civilization were traditional one and their own cultural practice.

    They worship Shiv and Parvati combined in the form of shiv linga. They successfully join religious view with their cultural practices. They used the sacred symbol 'swastika'. They have a good faith on social rituals and divine power. Several evidences like seals and stones proved their religious believes as a whole.
