Pinkster Day: Was originated in West Central Africa, in the nineteen century had become Pinkster a predominantly African American festival, with usually an African king in the celebration.

Negro Election Day: Was a festival created in 1741 in New England as part the black representative of that community. Incorporated aspects of West African culture and ritualistic celebrations and such as traditional dancing, African feasting and parades.

Both festivals became a representative of black people, and how the could celebrate together. To fight and preserve its roots and the African culture. Different from the Afro-American people of the South, that has many black people, it was a way to them live and celebrate themselves.
