Identify the factors that led to rise of early empires and states in the centuries after 1200, and describe the main characteristics of each. What was the nature of the connection between empires and war. Religion and trade? Have those connections changed much at all for modern empires? Explain.

    political system: the advancement and introduction of several political system gave rise to the development of various empires because some of the political systems used encouraged the ownership of territory in return of other favors needed by the occupants of the lands Technology : the development of effective means of transportation and communication encouraged the formation of empires because this meant rulers could get to their subjects in a faster and more efficient means Military development: one of the major means of creating empires was the use of military power to conquer the area and this was due to advancement in military equipment.

    Empires and war were very much together because in most cases the empires required warfare to conquer territories for itself also Religion and trade were very much connected to each other like with the Trans - Sahara trade routes controlled by the Muslims. this conditions haven't changed much for Modern empires.
