Is revolution always a good thing? Hypothesize some negative effects a revolution could have on a country based on what we've learned in this block. Be sure to use evidence to support your answer.

    Revolution and protests are not always the good thing as it creates some negative impact on a country and its peace. But if the protest is for a good cause and if it annihilates tyranny, then it may be considered good.

    Explanation:

    American Revolution is the best example wherein American colonists were oppressed by continuous taxes and they were not given enough say in the parliament too. This annoyed the colonists who plunged into protests ad revolutions. It paved for the American Independence. Laws have been altered and America sought liberty by seceding itself from the domination of the English Crown.

    Protests based on the racial discrimination and women suffrage movements are the best examples of protests which paved way for interpreting the constitution clearly and abolishing Jim Crow laws were the results of such protests.
