How did Anne Boleyn cause the official religion of England to be changed?

Henry the Eight wanted to divorce Catherine of Aragon as she wasn't able to give birth to a son, however it was illegal to become divorced at that time. Therefore, the only way to get married to a new wife was to create a new Church that he - Henry the Eight - could be the leader of himself. He created the Church of England which therefore changed the religion of England. After this, he was able to marry Anne Boleyn.
