Since we (USA) is a democratic republic. We have a duty as citizens to vote. Without our civic duty, our government structure would fall. Democratic systems are known for not being long lasting, in compared to governments like the Roman Empire. However, voting is a human right, therefore it is not required of every American citizen of age.
