Well we started to become ready and more prepared for war in case it ever happens. Not only that but after the war we were low on money and before ww2 we had the great depression from the first war making it hard to have supplies needed for another war so it hurt us drastically. We also had the spanish american war before ww2. So we gained some money out of it. So basically we learned to do better at war we also made better weapons.
