Why did puritan leaders expel roger williams and anne hutchinson from massachusetts?

    Roger Williams left because he disagreed with the leadership of Massachusetts and did not pay the Indians for their land. He went back to England. Anne Hutchison was expelled because she angered authorities by publicity discussing religious ideas that some leaders considered as radical
