Explain the debate between Roosevelt and isolationists

    Isolationist were many people who were against the intervention of the USA in wars or conflicts. They were a diverse group and Roosvelt appeared to agree with them until 1937. Because of Sino-Japanese war and other international affairs Roosvelt gave the speech of the quarantine. He understood that the USA had to participate to stop Hitler and the Japanese expansion.
