Poor. For both sides the result wasn't really great. The war started with the North Korean forces (with chinese forces too) pushed deep into the south being only miles from Souel the capital of the south then US/UN forces landed and pushed them back across the 38th parallel (where the original border was) and after that US forces (not UN) pushed farther resulting in heavy casualties or the US. Then they were also pushed back to the 38th parallel where fighting ceased. Basically there was a large war that resulted in lots of death and little gain.
