Why did people began trading during the Neolithic Age

    The Neolithic involved the transition of humans from gathering and hunting to cultures gradually more based in agriculture and, thus, settlement. Settlement brought other developments, such as pottery. Different settlements specialized in the production of different products, which first gave way to forms of barter and later of trade.
