    Explanation: On 4th July 1776 the United States of America gained independence from Britain after a long independence war. Then it was known as the Confederate States of America. The founder fathers of Confederate States of America decided not to held much power in the hand of federal government. Because of staying under the long ruling of British monarchy they feared about a strong central government. As a result the states government had much power than the federal government. The states could decide their own laws and affairs with the other states. The central government could not overrule the decisions of the state.

    As a result the literally the states had different opinion about different matters and often they had conflicts about these matters. But the central government had no power so solve the conflicts by taking decisions against the states. As a result the relationship between the states became weakened and eventually that led the America into the civil war which was between the Union states and the Confederate states.

    Therefore the answer is option B.
