why did Muslims consider Muhammad to be a prophet. response needs to address all part of the question clearly and correctly. it also needs to be supported with many details and evidence.

    Muhammad is consider the founder of Islam, according to this doctrine he was a phophet and a Messenger from the Gods, he was the responsable that most of the Arabian Penninsula was converted to the islam. Muslims think that Muhammad finally make the most complete revelation of their faith, been choose by Allah.

    The traditional story tell that he was meditating by night in a cave in a mountain and he was visited by the ángel Jibreel (Best know as Gabriel) who ordered to recite the words of god, a simple sentence refering to Allah as the only God, people was fast involved in his preach, it was very attractive to hear.

    Even when the islam was set back with resistance and hostility he remained compromising his message of monotheism.
