    Yes, because it gives you a better idea of WHY things happened the way they did, rather than reading basic facts

    yes, because it gives a better idea of our past. How different cultures used art in order to express themselves. now a days, you dont see many sculptures getting into museums, and you don't see many artist anymore, at least not in museums because it's all online, our past culture shows us many things about art and expression back then.
