    The main reason that President Andrew Jackson to make the Indian Removal in 1830 was to encouraged Congress to see the the Indians as 'savages' and see their lands were full of good natural resources, such as a gold. The Act established a process whereby the President could grant land west of the Mississippi River to Indian tribes that agreed to give up their homelands.
