The Bill of Rights of the constitution is the first 10 Amendments. These are the rights granted to individuals. You can see for yourself what they do.

    1. The right of free speech religion gatherings (non violent)

    2. The right to bear arms. The fathers were thinking of protecting yourself from invasion.

    3. The right during peacetime to refuse to have a soldier living and boarding with you.

    4. The right not to be invaded by police forces seeking evidence without a warrant or will with very little more than a hunch.

    5. The right to refuse to provide answers to questions which could incriminate you. There are other clauses in this right, like you can never be accused of the same crime twice.

6 An accused always has the right to a speedy trial.

7 The right to a trial by jury if the offense is worth more that 20 dollars

There are 3 others that you should look up.
