The technology has been developing constantly and very quickly. Not so long ago it became possible that the people from all over the world can interact, watch, learn things that are not close to them.

People from different backgrounds, cultures, religions, parts of the world have been able to share all sorts of things between each other, thus spreading their own culture, but also adopting the other's culture. This is known as a cultural diffusion.

An example of this can be the rap music. Created and promoted by the African Americans in the United States, it became popular among all people in the country pretty quickly, and through the technology it gained lot of new admirers and followers like in China, India, Nigeria, Russia.
