Why did the United States adopt a interventionist role in global politics?

    Because of the World Wars

    Explanation:

    We only intervened in the World Wars when we had to. Perhaps if we had joined earlier it would've been easier or better. We saw that intervening worked, and that caused the generals to want to stay with what had worked.
