The purpose of President Ford's Whip Inflation Now (WIN) was to encourage a movement to combat inflation in the US.

Explanation:

In 1974, the US President Gerald Ford started a movement that encouraged people in the US to fight against inflation by encouraging personal savings and more organized habit of spending together with other public measures.

This movement was known as Whip Inflation Now.

Whip Inflation Now was supposed to get the US economy out of dangers that it was facing but unfortunately it failed to give the desired result. WIN was unsuccessful in making economy stable.

Till date, Whip Inflation Win is viewed as one of the biggest blunders that a government has done to its public.
