King Louis XVi could have prevented the French Revolution. He could've prevented the French Revolution by stabilizing the economy by not spending so much on his luxury lifestyle and waging excessive wars. Since he fought a lot of wars, it made the country in huge debt, because of the debt, he took part of the American Revolution. If he had put the French people first, and not think about himself and his life, he would've of kept the economy more successful than what he decided to do. Louis also lacked a lot of government power with his personality. He wasn't very connected with the people of the nation, which made him a ineffective leader. If he was more closer to his citizens, the economy would've had a better outcome.
