What is andrew Johnson's reconstruction plans?

According to several historians, the approach of Andrew Johnson with his Reconstruction plan was weak and permissive with the Southern states. He wanted to reintegrate the secesion states to the Union as soon as possible whilst ignored the political status of African-American people. This plans carried big trouble between Johnson and Republican representatives whom set an impeachment over him.

He implemented a plan of Reconstruction that gave the white South a free hand in regulating the transition from slavery to freedom and offered no role to blacks in the politics of the South.
