Women's role in agricultural societies began to be seen as less important than men's, as it was less directly related to survival; leading to the marginalization of women and the rise of patriarchal societies.

true or false? ive read many things saying that they were equally important because their roles were different but i am not sure.

It's true! Although women were important in the aspects of gathering/taking care of the children. The men were seen as superior because they were the ones actually protecting the families. Hunting/survival skills, etc.
