What was it like being a kid in the Middle Ages

    Children in the Middle Ages were seen as useless. Childhood was not idealized as it is today. It was viewed more as a time of immaturity when a person was not able to complete any work. The uselessness of children in the Middle Ages is most apparent in the art and literature of the time

    kids were seen and not herd and often made to do work for the family until they come of age. they had little to no schooling, rights, or freedom as kids do now. and were considered there fathers property until they came of age or in a females case married off for families profit.
